Midland High freshman Hannah Krueger pictured in her mind how the Region I-6A Swimming & Diving Championships would unfold in the days leading up to the event.Krueger entered the meet as the No. 4 seed in the girls 100-yard freestyle, but she was only a quarter of a second behind the second seed in a race where only the top two finishers would reach the UIL state meet. Krueger was confident she could swim in the top two and achieve her dream of reaching state. The freshman sensation did just that, placing second with a time of 51.
